THe Gods
Odyssean gods. The Odyssean gods are the ancient Greek gods referenced in Homer's Odyssey. The story's major gods include Athena, Poseidon, Calypso and Circe; minor gods include Ino, Hermes, Zeus, and Heracles.
ApolloApollo does not physically appear in the Odyssey, but is prayed to often at many different occasions in The Odyssey. Apollo is prayed to on many occasions by Penelope when Penelope says she wants to die by being shot down by Apollo and many people throughout the story describe men as being shot down by Apollo when they die such as King Nestor.

athena Athena is the goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, mathematics, strength, war strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill in ancient Greek religion and mythology.

hephaestusHe served as the blacksmith of the gods, and was worshipped in the manufacturing and industrial centers of Greece, particularly Athens.

cronusCronus learned from Gaia and Uranus that he was destined to be overcome by his own sons, just as he had overthrown his father.

zeus Zeus was the god of the sky and ruler of the Olympian gods. He overthrew his father, Cronus, and then drew lots with his brothers

poseidon Poseidon is the god of the sea and protector of all aquatic features. Brother of Zeus and Hades.

hermesQuick acting and cunning, he was able to move swiftly between the world of man and the world of gods, acting as a messenger of the gods and the link between Mortals and the Olympians.
